DBSNE came to me with a bold idea: to modernize how businesses manage their energy usage, costs and contracts. Many companies struggled with fragmented data and manual processes. With volatile prices and standing charges rising, simply switching suppliers was no longer enough. Industrion was envisioned as an all‑in‑one solution giving customers easy access to their data, actionable insights and tools to reduce waste.
I designed and built Industrion.io from the ground up, leading the architecture, backend and frontend. The result is a robust B2B energy platform that consolidates multiple functions into one seamless application. Industrion visualises consumption in interactive dashboards (Insight), enables live supplier bidding on contracts (Adapt), provides real‑time monitoring across sites and meters (Spark Lab), and automates tenant billing with precision (Nexa). Multi‑user access lets teams securely collaborate, while onboarding is as simple as entering an email and postcode. The system is engineered for scale, reliably handling large volumes of data and API calls.
Industrion is now used by businesses to take control of their energy strategy. Dozens of enterprise clients rely on it, processing hundreds of thousands of data requests per day. It has become a digital energy hub, providing full visibility into consumption and enabling optimisations that cut costs. By integrating analytics with procurement and billing, Industrion empowers informed decisions and tangible savings, achieving a customer satisfaction rate of around 99%.
