ARC had an initial hard-coded automation system that was difficult to maintain and expand. Their setup required deep expertise to modify and wasn’t scalable for new deployments.
I completely re-engineered the system architecture using a Revolution Pi (industrial-grade Raspberry Pi) and Node-RED to replace the original rigid model. This change drastically simplified future changes while still allowing fine-grained control of industrial machinery.
The new system is faster to deploy, easier to adapt, and gives ARC full control without needing deep PLC programming knowledge. It now serves as a future-proof template for other hardware installations.
